The transition to all-IP broadband net-works in both the fixed and mobile environments is of major significance, both as a driver for growth and a future enabler, and this session examined the na-ture of the convergence of fixed and mobile broadband services and explored the potential implications of these technologies on network development and service provision. Summary of moderator’s statement Given the rapid development and uptake of mobile applications, choosing the right technologies to respond to the market demand has become critical.
