In many ways, they now replace traditional fixed networks. Mobile services are stimulating greater economic activity, enabling innovation and improving people’s lives. Mobile Internet may well be the way billions of people, especially in emerging countries, will connect to and experience broadband connectivity. This Session will examine the necessary enablers and potential barriers to the full and rapid development of the mobile Internet as a platform for sustainable economic growth.
