What I’ve learned… What is success for you? For me, success is being able to positively impact farmers worldwide with Chipsafer. This will undoubtedly result in an improvement to their quality of life. How could we encourage more people to use technology for good and become entrepreneurs? From my point of view, an overall strategy should be created to generate social awareness of the importance of using science and technology to improve the quality of life for everyone. Good examples in the development of new technologies are a key element in this regard, to motivate new entrepreneurs. I do not include any geographical restriction since I believe that anyone anywhere can become an entrepreneur and have an impact in the world. What is really necessary, in my opinion, is that information is accessible anywhere in the world, as young minds with great capacity are everywhere, even in the most deprived places. Are you there yet? Not yet. Since I did not plan my project exclusively for the benefit of my country, it is my hope that it can be developed around the world. There are political, social, economic and technological elements that require a bigger effort and the necessary time to develop. Who and what have been most helpful to you throughout your journey? I believe that I have been fortunate to meet many people throughout this experience. The mentor’s advice was very helpful and reflected their long experience in entrepreneurship. I also appreciated the advice of other young entrepreneurs who had recently been through the same process that I was going through, and whose experiences I considered very useful. I’d also like to highlight the continuous support I’ve received from my family. ...young minds with great capacity are everywhere, even in the most deprived places.
