Applicants have a chance to respond to comments and exchange views with the experts, prior to improving their business plans. The revised business plans are then submitted for a second evaluation, where they are reviewed once more by the judges, who score the applicants based on the original merits of their project, as well as the improvements made following the first round discussions. At the end of the process, the best ten ideas are identified. the degree of innovation and social impact, and business experts, who evaluate the feasibility and business potential. Judges for each challenge are drawn from both public and private sectors, offering a wide range of experience. Each application is reviewed by at least two challenge experts with different backgrounds (public sector, private sector, academia, NGO) and at least one business expert. The judges are required to submit comments and suggestions for improvement to be addressed by applicants in the second phase of The Young Innovators Programme is committed to bringing in world class experts to evaluate Young Innovators Competition applicants and their applications. These experts engage with the applicants on a one-on-one basis, guiding and coaching the young innovators.
