KUMBA Connect KUMBA Connect is a networking platform which creates job opportunities for un – and under-employed young Caribbean migrants with strong technical skills who are living in the UK. It will provide opportunities for young migrants to employ their skills and earn extra income, as well as contribute to solving technical or product development challenges for Caribbean companies lacking in-house human resource capacity. Through their interaction with private companies, the young migrants will be able to develop skills, gaining experience and eventually longer-term employment and entrepreneurial opportunities. In the long term, KUMBA will expand into other geographical markets, and will develop mobile applications to enable its users to engage more effectively. Ultimately, KUMBA Connect will bring about social change and mutual benefit to our clients and community. What? An internet platform giving job opportunities back home to migrant Caribbean youth.
