The report summarizes the issues discussed at the Workshop. The CD-ROM contains the 40-page background paper, specially commissioned country case studies on Australia, Italy, Malaysia and South Africa, the background resources gathered during research and the presentations made at the Workshop. The accompanying brochure contains a report of the Workshop. The CD-ROM also contains a number of country reports (India, Mexico, China and Hong Kong SAR, Finland) on mobile interconnection, as well as materials from the New Initiatives Workshop held on the subject in September 2000. The accompanying brochure contains a report of the Workshop. This CD-ROM is of particular interest to regulatory experts in the field of interconnection as well as those interested in a deeper understanding of the forces at play in our transition to a mobile information society.
