Mr. Chairman, as you all are aware, Nigeria is celebrating its 50th Independence Anniversary this year. May I use this opportunity to thank all the countries that congratu-lated and showed solidarity to Nigeria. There was a little unfortunate incident for which many of you conveyed condolences right here during the ongoing Conference. We deeply appreciate, and assure all delegates that the Government and People of Nigeria are leaving no stone unturned to bring the perpetrators to book. It is worthy of note that ICT is helping Nigerian Security Agencies in their investigations. I assure you that Nigeria is still a safe country for you to visit and do business.
