Friday, 8 October Mongolia ensure Information security, programs on e-learning, telemedicine, content development and the project to placing mailing boxes in every household have been initiated and in the course of action. Along with remarkable achievements, more works have to be done ahead. The Government of Mongolia is in the process of developing programs and projects to imple-ment on the national scale such as “Mongolian nation-al satellite for communications”, “Information technol-ogy training and Industrial campus”, “Introduction of digital radio and television broadcasting services” and “Silicon Valley of Mongolia”. There is an ultimate necessity to create a favorable environment to support e-services, to ensure introduc-tion of different outsourcing businesses, to provide more innovation, improvement of business environ-ment, approving e-signature and related IT laws, using ICT advantages to develop mining, agriculture, educa-tion, health, social welfare, transportation and other sectors, information communication, postal and inter-net services to the rural area of Mongolia and engage public-private partnership. The Government of Mongolia is fully committed to continue comprehensive efforts of the International Telecommunications Union to enhance the emerging information-based society, and appreciates all dele-gates for uniting here for this conference with the aim to promote development of ICT.
