The revolutionary advancement in ICT in Afghanistan and the world, is the result of libralisation, standardisa-tion and advances in prepayment technologies. Here, I would like to suggest to the ITU that, in cooperation and coordination with other world standardisation bodies, maximise its efforts to standardise batteries and chargers for mobile devices at the earliest possi-ble.
