– 163 – (7.2 – Other miscellaneous matters) further noting a) that the recommendations contained in Documents C05/37 and 51 should be implemented within the existing budgetary appropriations of the Union; b) that the implementation of certain projects listed in Document C05/37, in particular those relating to the improvement of business processes, requires further study, resolves 1 that the following projects be implemented immediately after the 2005 session of the Council: – travel management, – procurement tools (service, special service agreement and BDT procurements), – improvement of the linkage between strategic, financial and operational planning, – personnel recruitment, appointment, transfer and promotion, – improvement of certain other business processes as mentioned in Document C05/37; 2 that the funds committed to these projects will not exceed the ceiling of CHF 1 800 000 which is within the limits of ICT Capital Fund; 3 that the Secretary-General further study the projects listed in Document C05/37, including the recommendations of the Consultant for future work, and provide a report to the NCOG, resolves further to appreciate the work carried out by the NCOG, as established in Resolution 1216, and to revise its mandate, composition and working methods, as shown in the Annex to this Resolution, instructs the new Council Oversight Group 1 to oversee the implementation of the projects listed in this Resolution, assisted by the Supporting Team, and provide its final report to Council 2006; 2 to ensure that the funds committed to these projects do not exceed the provision made available; 3 to review the report of the Secretary-General regarding projects listed in Document C05/37, instructs the Secretary-General 1 to make available the appropriate internal staff resources to facilitate the implementation of the projects listed in resolves 1 above and to enable the New Council Oversight Group to conduct its work; 2 to complete the review of projects listed in Document C05/37 and provide a report to the NCOG in a timely manner; 3 to report to Council 2006 on the implementation of this Resolution.
