ITU has adopted a Wide Area File Service solution « WAFS » to improve the response time between its headquarter applications and the remote site set up in Antalya while optimizing file transfers to and from the data centre in Geneva. The solution, provided by Packeeter Inc., will be used at the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference to facilitate all the data exchange needed to contribute to a smooth functioning of the conference.
