\n The International Telecommunication Union (ITU), together with the Chair of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child,\u00a0is pleased to invite stakeholders to submit Partner2Connect (P2C) pledges in support of the Joint Statement on Artificial Intelligence and the Rights of the Child<\/a>, co-signed by thirteen international entities.

The Joint Statement, led by ITU and the Chair of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child and co-signed by a broad group of international partners, calls for collective action to ensure that artificial intelligence is developed and used in ways that respect, protect and fulfil children\u2019s rights<\/strong>.

As artificial intelligence (AI) increasingly shapes children’s experiences online and offline, this Call for Pledges provides a light and practical pathway for stakeholders to demonstrate concrete action and contribute to a safe, inclusive and rights-respective digital future for every child. \u00a0

Through this call, ITU invites governments, regulators, industry, international organizations, civil society, academia, and development partners to make voluntary, measurable, and time-bound commitments that contribute to advancing child-rights-based approaches to AI.

Stakeholders are invited to indicate, when submitting their pledge, that it supports the Joint Statement on Artificial Intelligence and the Rights of the Child, so that commitments can be brought together under this shared effort.
