Transformation roadmap<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n ITU needs to be fit for the rapidly evolving future. Change management is crucial for successful outcomes and long-term sustainability. The ITU Council gave the go-ahead on an ambitious roadmap to achieve organizational excellence and approved the creation of our new Transformation Team.\u00a0 <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Making change<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n ITU is actively fostering internal culture change to invigorate staff and ensure organizational excellence in the years ahead. One in eight staff members has officially become a ChangeMaker, with two-thirds of them having graduated from training in 2023. As the programme continues, many are applying structured change-management methodologies to ITU-specific change cases. <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Resource mobilization<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n

The ITU budget is funded mainly through member state contributions, complimented by fees for various products and services. Our new partnership and resource mobilization strategy will seek deeper collaboration with development agencies, the private sector, foundations, and philanthropic institutions, aiming to strengthen both our regular budget and extra-budgetary revenues. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
