Dr. KangSik Cheon received his B.S and M.S degree from Seoul National University. He received his Ph.D. from Polytechnic University at Brooklyn, New York. During Ph.D. study, his research includes Internet Protocol such as TCP/IP, Ethernet Protocol and ATM technology for high capacity speed networks.

He consulted on expansion of New York Stock Exchange Networks for multi-years for SIAC. Then he joined Korea telecom as a member of technical staff on evolution of telecommunication network for more than 10 years. He worked as ICT director of Gyeonggi Provincial Government of Korea where he developed ICT policies and managed ICT networks for provincial-wide government networks.

He was invited many times to give speech for Universities and research Institute in Korea and served as a member of government ran ICT-related committees. He gave instruction to Universities as a Industry Faculty member in Korea.

Currently he is COO of International Business Development for Netpia.
