DOWNLOADING TIPS
 

The documents for the ITU World Telecommunications Policy Forum on IP Telephony are posted in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF).  Most Web browsers will open these documents by launching the appropriate application separately, but this may take some time.

A more convenient way to access the documents is to save them to your computer's hard drive and then open them with Word, PowerPoint, or Acrobat Reader independently.  To do this, instead of clicking on the link for the desired document with your left mouse button, click your right button and select "Save Target As..." or "Save Link As..." to download it directly to your hard drive.  Once it is there, simply double-click on it to launch it like any other file.

Adobe Acrobat PDF files may not display properly if you do not have the current version of the Acrobat Reader (4.0). To obtain the free upgrade, click on the link below and follow the instructions there.  You will be required to exit all of your active applications to install the software.  You may then return to the ForumWebsite and resume downloading documents.
