The ITU Testbed is designed to demonstrate the key features of the the Digital Object Architecture.

As a testbed for the technology, we have set up a version of ITU Corporate Strategy Division website. Please click on Testbed* to enter the testbed.

*Before you view the Testbed , read Software requirements and Guidelines section.

**The current version of the ITU CSD website is compatible with Mozilla Firefox only. Compatibility with Microsoft Internet Explorer and other web browsers will be announced here as soon as it is made available.

 Guidelines

CNRI Handle extension 2.3.3 quick Installation Guide *

Step 1: Click on the link: Download the latest CNRI Handle Extension version 2.3.3.

Step 2: The Software Installation Permission prompt will appear.

Step 3: Select "Allow".

Step 4: Then, click on "Install Now".

Step 5: Once installed, Restart Mozilla Firefox.
 

*The current version of the CNRI Handle Extension for Mozilla Firfox-2.3.3 only works with Mozilla Firefox versions 3.0 and higher.

 Software Requirements

Please note the following

  • Java Run Time Environment (JRE) should be pre-installed
    Download the latest JRE

  • Java enabled in the Firefox browser
    (Can be done using Tools->Options-> Content tab in your browser settings)
