Natasha Jackson

Natasha joined the GSMA in 2005 and is responsible for public policy issues arising from mobile content services, leading the Association’s work on promoting responsible self-regulatory approaches.

Natasha leads the Mobile Alliance against Child Sexual Abuse Content, a global initiative designed to obstruct the use of the mobile environment by individuals or organisations wishing to consume or profit from child sexual abuse content (child pornography). She was also responsible for the development of a global code of practice on mobile spam and educational toolkits for mobile operators outlining issues and good practice in the areas of safer mobile use by children and age-sensitive commercial content. Natasha is also the Chair of the Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI) – the international organisation which is working to help make the online world safer for children and their families.

Before joining the GSMA, Natasha held international roles across fixed and mobile business in both blue chip and start up environments, including Cable & Wireless. She has over 15 years experience in the telecoms industry and holds a degree in Economics.
