Houshyar IoT OSS: A solution for optimizing and improving quality and resiliency of the IoT infrastructure
Houshyar IoT OSS
Houshyar IoT OSS is a full-fledged Java-based software that can be used by service providers for unified and integrated monitoring, controlling, analyzing and managing their information and communication infrastructure as well as their IoT infrastructure. This is a solution that has been developed by Data Processing Company (Parvaresh Dadeha) from scratch for optimizing and improving the infrastructure as the main foundation of information society. This system can manage different components of the infrastructure including broadband network infrastructures, mobile and fixed communication networks, data centers (serves, applications, databases, storage solutions, etc.), e-services and an IoT infrastructure and platforms (smart city, smart parking, etc.). These kinds of systems have critical role in providing resilient, reliable, high-quality, sustainable and ubiquitous access to ICTs by citizens, businesses and government. Quality infrastructure is positively related to the achievement of social, economic and political goals and undeveloped and low-quality infrastructures limits access to health care and education. Houshyar IoT OSS has been used at the national level for managing some of the services of National Information Network, telephony switching network and broadband network of service providers. This activity is relevant to WSIS Action Line C2. Also, this project is relevant to the Goal 9 of Sustainable Development Goals and one of its targets to develop quality, reliable, sustainable and resilient infrastructure, including regional and trans-border infrastructure, to support economic development and human well-being, with a focus on affordable and equitable access for all.
