COLLABORATION AND MESSAGING MOBILE PLATFORM DRIVING INCLUSION FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, YOUTH IN EDUCATION AND ENGAGEMENT ON IMPORTANT ISSUES

BEACON CHAT

Beacon Chat is a collaborative learning and messaging platform built on Bluetooth Internet of Things Framework. It helps in rebooting equality by inspiring fresh and energetic approaches to digital inclusion, connectivity and shared learning. Providing those without access to basic communication a way to do this. Deaf individuals who are of low income and rural disproportionately discriminated against, particularly because of inability to communicate effectively and privately with those around them. Low internet connectivity and low understanding of sign languages leaves them with limited communication channels. Beacon Chat is the solution, built on Bluetooth Internet of Things framework, individuals can communicate (at no cost) regardless of network and WIFI coverage. It gives everyone equal chances to seize opportunities brought by the technological change, empower the disadvantaged to fully participate in the economy through collaboration, even in places lacking pervasive connectivity.
