Integrated Monitoring System of Indicators for Prevention and Promotion of Health (Spanish: Monitoreo Integral de Indicadores de Prevención y Promoción de la Salud)
MIIPPS
To facilitate the evaluation of Public Health policies, a platform was developed that provides public servants with the latest verified information on the incidence of both communicable and noncommunicable diseases. Various National Health Centres were involved in the project; the Deputy Minister of Prevention and Promotion of Health now has at his fingertips a multimedia platform covering 14 priority diseases, and all of Mexico. Additionally, he received all the tools necessary to include the remaining federal health programs. This project is part of the 'GobLab' of the Office of the President, which uses technology and data to develop evidence-based policies.
