Electronic information system for the registration of labor contract notifications
Starting from July 1, 2014 electronic information system for the registration of labor contract notifications has been launched in Azerbaijan. Under the new system an employer upon signing an employment contract with employee is obliged to submit a so-called employment contract notification (mandatory for entering into, making any changes to or termination of an employment contract), which is considered as an electronic document, via electronic information system of Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population. The employers can hire the services of the portal www.e-gov.az and www.e-mlspp.gov. The employment contract shall enter into force only after the system sends back an electronic registration notice. The electronic registration notice must be provided to the employer within one working day.
