The Data Bridge Project promotes the values of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) by aligning with key principles of inclusion, access to information, and social development, ultimately benefiting the community in several ways: Universal Access to Information and Knowledge: By integrating data between the Social Protection Fund and various entities, the project ensures that all individuals, especially vulnerable groups such as children, the elderly, widows, and orphans, have access to essential social benefits. This promotes equal access to information, which is a fundamental WSIS value. Bridging the Digital Divide: The project aims to bring together diverse data sources and organizations, ensuring that marginalized and underserved communities benefit from improved service delivery. It contributes to bridging the digital divide by making sure that those in need have access to social protection programs through more efficient and data-driven systems. Building Trust and Confidence in Digital Services: By centralizing data and ensuring accurate and reliable information, the project fosters trust in digital services among beneficiaries and the general public. This aligns with the WSIS value of promoting confidence in information society services, ensuring that social benefits are distributed fairly and transparently. Promoting Social and Economic Development: The Data Bridge Project directly supports WSIS’s focus on using information and communication technologies (ICT) for social and economic development. By ensuring that the most vulnerable populations receive the necessary support, it contributes to the overall well-being of the community and supports social stability. Inclusive and Sustainable Growth: The project prioritizes the inclusion of vulnerable groups by leveraging data to provide tailored benefits, ensuring that no one is left behind. This promotes sustainable development and social inclusion, which is a central theme in the WSIS principles.
