A world class, web-based Unified Registry Platform (URP) was essential to improve the ease of doing business in Belize. registration of your business entity, access to your business entity profile and history, reminders on annual filing to ensure your business status remains as Active and in Good Standing, verifiable E- certificates of registration or incorporation, name reservation and E-filing.
The outcomes of a modern registry system elevates ease of doing business environment. This may serve for increasing the number of registered businesses in Belize and as a result, increase tax revenues, encourage foreign investment, and elevate the quality of public services.

Built on an internationally proven platform for building advanced Registry solutions, the E- e-registry system has been implemented in 33 developing and developed countries, the new registry system being implemented in Belize could be easily replicated in other jurisdictions. More so, implementing the solution on a regional basis would benefit the Caribbean countries and others as a whole by creating unified standards, supporting the fight against shadow economies, improving the business environment, and creating more job opportunities.

The use of a modular state-of-the-art platform supported by strong partners ensures that the Online Business Registry System is a long-term local and regional solution aimed at achieving sustainable results in support of ongoing innovation, economic development, transparency, and citizen’s well-being. The use of an online platform will also reduce the environmental impact by reducing the use for printed documents and decreasing the need to travel to and from physical registration offices.
