The Sharjah Digital Integration Program (SDIP), led by the Sharjah Digital Department, represents the Emirate’s leap from digital transformation to digital integration. Over the past years, Sharjah has made significant progress in digitizing government services, strengthening digital infrastructure, and enabling data-driven decision-making. SDIP builds on these achievements and brings them together under one coordinated program that connects government entities, platforms, and data to deliver seamless public services.

The program was established to address fragmentation across digital initiatives and ensure that government entities work together as part of one integrated digital ecosystem. It is guided by the Sharjah Digital Transformation Strategy (2026–2028), supported by the Government Entity Cooperation Charter and overseen by the Digital Integration Higher Committee.

The strategy was developed through an extensive participatory process involving more than 80 strategy workshops and over 290 participants, as well as the Sharjah Digital Transformation Forum that brought together representatives from 83 government entities to align priorities and shape initiatives.

Through coordinated initiatives across digital services, data and artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital empowerment, SDIP is strengthening Sharjah’s digital government and enabling a more connected, efficient, and people-centered public sector that serves nearly two million residents.
