“Digital Agencies”, developed by the UAE Ministry of Justice, is an innovative digital solution that transforms the traditional process of issuing and managing powers of attorney into a fully digital, secure, and accessible service. The platform utilizes advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Smart OCR to automatically extract and analyse legal information from documents, reducing manual data entry while improving accuracy and efficiency.
Through seamless integration with national platforms such as UAE PASS for digital identity verification and other government databases, the service enables users to issue powers of attorney remotely through a simplified digital process that replaces multiple traditional procedures.
The initiative has delivered significant measurable impact. Processing time has been reduced from two working days to approximately ten minutes, while paper usage has decreased by 98% due to full digital transformation. More than 125,000 digital notary transactions have been completed, serving over 77,000 registered users including citizens, residents, elderly individuals, and inmates in correctional institutions. Customer satisfaction increased from 49% to 82%, reflecting improved service quality and user experience. The service also achieved a 99% reduction in in-person visits for vulnerable groups and ensures 100% digital payment coverage through secure national payment gateways.
Through this innovation, the Ministry of Justice strengthens digital government transformation and enhances inclusive access to justice.
It offers 10+ digital agency templates such as: Real estate, Banking, Disputes, Business license issuance, Stock agency, Company management, General power of attorney, Litigation agency – Lawyers, Car agency.
It integrates with UAE PASS for automatic data retrieval, and uses blockchain to ensure secure, paperless, 24/7 legal services.
