The "WuYue Era" quantum computing cloud platform based on the "Chaos Universe Element" quantum computing scientific device


Description

At present, there are problems in the use of quantum computing hardware, such as multiple technical routes, high cost, and high threshold for use. Especially, the quantum algorithms that can be executed by quantum computers with different technical routes are also different. Various factors have led to difficulties in learning, researching, and using quantum computing.
To solve the above problems, China Mobile has proposed the "WuYue Era" quantum computing cloud platform based on the "Chaos Universe Element" quantum computing scientific device. This platform researches a converged task multi-strategy balanced scheduling algorithm for quantum computing, achieving excellent integration and scheduling of quantum and classical computing resources; And further unify the management of quantum computing machine systems with different technological routes, realizing the shielding of quantum computer hardware and the unified service of multiple types of quantum computing computing power; We have developed a software system based on a graphical quantum GUI editor and a quantum computing cloud programming IDE design toolchain, which reduces the threshold for learning and using quantum computing; And launched quantum algorithms for multiple fields such as biomedicine, artificial intelligence, and resource scheduling, providing a basic quantum algorithm library for users' further research.

Replicability

The development of integrated circuits follows Moore's Law, and the development of core hardware with computing power such as FPGA, GPU, TPU is also getting faster and stronger, but at the same time, it is also getting closer to the limit of this type of computing power technology. In recent years, the field of artificial intelligence has developed rapidly, but the development of this industry requires a large amount of computing power support. Taking chatGPT as an example, its predecessor GPT-3 used 300 billion words and over 40TB of large-scale, high-quality data for training. Only by vigorously developing computing power can it support the development of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence.
Quantum computing, with its parallel processing capability and exponentially growing computing power, is considered capable of solving the current computing bottleneck in the field of artificial intelligence. Traditional computers require a lot of time and resources to handle complex problems, while quantum computers can utilize their parallel processing capabilities to quickly solve these problems.
China Mobile supports diverse quantum computing power integration through standardization, designs and implements a grid connection technology architecture for universal quantum computing power, and successfully integrates multiple types of quantum computing power resources such as superconducting quantum computer computing power and coherent photon quantum computing power based on this architecture.And through the quantum computing cloud platform, the combination of quantum computing power, classical computing power, intelligent computing power, and super computing power can be achieved. This solution has been replicated and commercialized at the Yangtze River Delta (Wuhu) Intelligent Computing Center, achieving the integration of general computing power and quantum computing power; And it has the ability to replicate to other computing infrastructure to achieve a hybrid computing platform.‌


Sustainability

With the rapid development of quantum computing, if the already constructed quantum computers are used merely as scientific instruments without serving the general public, it would lead to a waste of resources. Additionally , many scientific research institutions and universities are dedicated to building quantum computers and quantum computing cloud platforms for the study and research of quantum computing, which will inevitably lead to redundant construction
The quantum computing cloud platform launched by China Mobile, which includes coherent photon quantum computers, ion trap quantum computers, and neutral atom quantum computers managed through the "Chaos Universe Element" quantum computing scientific device, has enabled the Yangtze River Delta (Wuhu) Intelligent Computing Center to provide quantum computing services to the outside world without the need to build its own quantum computing machines, saving equipment and resource costs of over ten million yuan.
The "WuYue Era" quantum computing cloud platform has the ability to provide quantum computing services to public users. Through organizing activities such as the first "Huacai Cup" Computing Power Application Innovation Competition and the Mobile Cloud "WuYue Cup" Quantum Computing Challenge, it has provided quantum computing services and capabilities to thousands of teams and nearly 10000 people, and extended the services to subsequent daily educational and teaching activities.

And build a quantum developer community with sections such as articles, Q&A, learning, activities, and cloud platforms, providing a comprehensive interactive space for explorers in the field of quantum computing, and enhancing public awareness and interest in quantum computing technology. Ensure data security: On the basis of meeting the conventional information security requirements of the Internet system, the "WuYue Era" quantum computing cloud platform deployed PQC (Post-quantum cryptography) in advance to resist quantum computing attacks and enhance user security. Technological innovation: The "Chaos Universe Element" quantum computing scientific device insists on incorporating and managing multiple types of quantum computing hardware technologies, and supplementing the quantum computing power service capabilities through self-developed multi type quantum computing simulators.
