The global population is growing, putting pressure on agriculture to produce more food. Agriculture faces limited land, labor shortages, climate change, and soil fertility issues. Agriculture and farming plays an important role in the economic sector and it is a $5trillion industry. VISTANO is a project with a mission to revolutionize sustainable agriculture and contribute to the achievement of the SDGs.The project offers a cutting-edge technology that enables farmers to grow crops more efficiently, sustainably and with less environmental impact. VISTANO’s innovative approach combines precision farming techniques with artificial intelligence, data analytics and IoT, making it possible to optimize crop yields while minimizing the use of resources such as water, fertilizer and energy.By using precision farming techniques, farmers can reduce waste and improve efficiency, resulting in higher yields with less inputs. This means that they can grow more food with fewer resources, helping to address the challenge of food security and contribute to the SDG2. By reducing the use of fertilizers and pesticides, VISTANO also helps to protect the environment and promote biodiversity, contributing to the SDG15.ESM has taken the first step to develop a smart agricultural system with IoT sensors, to help farmers reduce workload and improve manpower shortages. Also ESM has developed an AI-based application called VISTANO that can identify the nutrient deficiencies in soil including plant pests and diseases. VISTANO uses image recognition-based technology and farmer can capture images of plants using smartphones. Also help farmers can analyze weather conditions by using weather forecasting which helps them plan the type of crop can be grown and when should seeds be sown. Also are executed based on the data received from the field and alerts are generated for pest-disease forewarning and irrigation scheduling. Based on the alerts generated by the system, Agricultural engineers send personalized crop advisories to the farmers.

Our project can be replicated because the problem that we are trying to solve is a common problem that occurs in rural communities in general, especially farmers. The problem in question is access to information and technology. That is the root of the other secondary issues, including funding, access to agri-input, and access to the market. If access to information is opened freely among farmers, they will be freer to get other secondary access, so we do replicate in the other countries.
IRAN as a lot of countries all over the world is located in the zone of risky agriculture, where 80% of the risk is drought. also with our project farmers have controlled and stopped to Irrigation more than is necessary. In this project according to the weather forecast reports, and weather records in last 20 years, have been sent necessary alarms to the farmers. also they have been able to get reliable information regarding their problems on the field, where they can also get the information about crop calendar, market price, fertilizer information and many more through just one app on their phone. They can also give stakeholders more accurate data through the surveyor (extension worker) that shows what kind of crops do the farmers cultivate, cultivation methode, farm size, all the way to the productivity prediction. This way, stakeholders can predict how much money the farmers' need for the initial capital, what kind of fertilizer do they need to cultivate, what kind of pesticide, until how much crop the farmers can produce in order to be marketed in certain markets.
Transformation of education in counseling methods. Strengthening rural communities Downstreaming of information technology in rural activities and development. Bridging interactions between Farmers and agriculture engineers) Provision of information from various stakeholders as an indicator in the cultivation system.
