The continuous reliant on annual rainfall as a means for farming and other agricultural activities by farmers in Ghana and Sub-Sahara Africa could results in greater crop failings, hunger, extreme poverty, nutritional insecurity and human security which has resulted in conflicts and civil disturbances as had happed in many African countries. Our project which is the African Digital Agribusiness Repository Officially seeks to creating the biggest collection of climate change and greener online projects and innovations on a digital platform in the West African sub region and other parts of Africa , the goal is to bring innovative entrepreneurial climate change innovations into a single online platform to creating greener opportunities by harnessing and turning digital opportunities to digital gains through activities of the of the African Digital Agribusiness Repository. Also more importantly this Repository will not only exist online but will also function as fully registered independent entity comprising of skilled and committed personnel backed up by digital infrastructures including an in-house established data center to enable the repository to be more efficient and effective to its core duties and mandate, this repository will enjoin small scale agricultural entrepreneurs using digital tools and platforms as key players in the digital economy globally to propelling entrepreneurship among the youth and young graduates , sizable numbers of women/girls and organizations taking advantage of the borderless access and opportunity offered to this current generation as a challenge to prosper whiles addressing of the most pressing challenges facing Africa. This project is a direct replication of our success story in a more improved and upgraded state with a wider reach and strong impact on the catchment communities in Ghana.

Currently due to the success of the project and lessons learnt well documented, we are at the early stages of scaling an offshoot of the project called African Digital Agribusiness Reposition which is now a project bringing together similar and interested organizations in West Africa based in Accra Ghana. This is a success story we will like to replicate in West Africa and possibly across Africa with collaborating parters abroad.
Our solution have successfully assisted participating young farmers and other workers through our greener opportunities program to sell their farm produce through selected Messaging Applications (WhatsApp, TikTok etc.) and selected social media applications on mobile devices of farmers and that of our project field teams assisted farmers to be in touch with buyers of their farm produce without the need for the farmers to travel long distances to sell their foods at nearby marketing centers , by this online transaction fuel usage and emission by vehicles have been save and time and money have been saved for the farmers using this service depending on uptake, these solutions can avoid more than a billion tonnes of CO2e. Bridging the digital divide among rural farming communities through basic training for selected young farmers, women/girls and other key stakeholders involved in agribusiness in our catchment communities in Ghana has been one of the key features of our project, we believe that the farmers own understanding of what climate change is about and the vital role of that ICT’s are playing in promoting sustainable food security programs and sustainable agriculture friendly technology-driven programs is vital to sustainable the program and hence such a program is ongoing by our organization. Due to the frequent and sometimes erratic weather conditions at farming communities in Ghana and largely West Africa including lack of regular rainfall and the regular high dry weather conditions in Northern Ghana and the majority of farming communities across Ghana and other Sub-Sahara Africa nations, this project works with farmers whose crops are diseased but do not have access to extension officers due to the remoteness of their location and the nearest extension office. the lack of early means of transport for proper and timely assistance in getting the required insecticides and pesticides to control weeds and pests this facility is a Crop Diseased Imagery Program (CDIP) on the farm assessment program.
