La Papeleta is a collaborative Cuban cultural billboard on the web, through the url www.lapapeleta.cu. Created in March 2013 and has as its main objective, the promotion and dissemination of cultural activities and events throughout the country, it gathers all cultural expressions and takes into account all types of audiences, according to the age range; achieving a position in both the national and foreign audiences. It has incorporated as a service, the reservation and electronic sale of shows, facilitating the public the assistance to them, eliminating factors like the long waiting times for the purchase of the ticket or the double trip to the cultural venue, guaranteeing your seat from the comfort of your home.Currently the service is available for 7 cultural venues in the country, including: José Jacinto Milanés Theater in the Pinar del Río province; National Theater of Cuba, Mella Theater, Great Theater of Havana "Alicia Alonso", the Trompoloco Tent, all of Havana; Sauto Theater of Matanzas; Heredia Theater of Santiago de Cuba. It is planned to increase the service to more recreational and sports spaces.

Financial sustainabilityTo cover the costs associated with the development, maintenance and hosting of La Papeleta, as well as to promote the obtaining of profits for this service, the following business scheme is offered:- Publication of free announcements to the institutions belonging to the Budgeted System of the Ministry of Culture.- Publication of ads with preferential rates for prominent spaces of institutions belonging to the Business System of the Ministry of Culture.-Publication of ads with non-preferential rates for Recreation Centers, Night Centers not belonging to the Ministry of Culture System. - Sale of tickets in Theaters and Cultural Centers.- Reservations of tickets in theaters and cultural centers.- Sale of cultural events program.Technological sustainability-The product is an own development of Cubarte. It is developed on the Platform D Jango, for which we have the technical support that guarantees scalability. At the moment we are working on the design of a new web version and the mobile application.- At the moment a campaign is being developed by ETECSA to promote the services and stimulate the consumption of the contents of the Cuba network, which favors access to La Papeleta.Legal sustainability- A legal instrument is necessary to guarantee the obligatory nature of cultural institutions in the delivery and reliability of information for La Papeleta.- Approval of the editorial policy of La Papeleta as a legal instrument.- Agreement on contractual terms and contracts for commercial and non-commercial clients.- Permissions for sales by electronic commerce. Legislation of public key and client protection.- Permission to sell advertising.
As previously mentioned, the billboard is an informative medium with a promotional character, mainly on social networking sites and presentations. In these communities, promotional work related to WSIS values can be carried out. This can generate a high number of initiatives such as participation contests, awareness campaigns and the generation of messages of support.
