KFU SMART APP

Description

The KFU App developed as a resourceful tool that incorporates modern technologies to support local and foreign students and learners while taking into account the safety and security of using a visual identity of the users.

The main goals of the app are to provide equal access to and opportunities in a cutting-edge educational and interactive information environment for students and those involved in the teaching and learning process from all over the world, wherever and whenever they need it.

The app makes it possible to concentrate on each student's performance in a way that helps him develop his abilities and skills in order to create an engaging and interactive experience with him. As a result, the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN and KSA will be accomplished.

Replicability

The combination of modern education along with a range of mobile applications can produce impressive results for the average person, especially those living in remote locations.

KFU App introduces modern technologies into the process of teaching and learning and obtaining sources of knowledge and digital services, to transform it into a lively and interactive experience between the student and the university that allows focusing on the performance of each student in a way that helps work towards developing his abilities and skills, as the educational process will also depend on supporting tablets, computers, and electronic boards for the current teaching system in a more effective manner in the future. The app features, processes, and strategies will definitely be repeatable and expandable


Sustainability

The KFU App will continue to exist and expand.
The education industry is working to improve its skills as new technologies become available. The high cost of establishment is offset by significant future savings, improved educational process performance, and continued competition because those who do not advance pass away. Schools, colleges, and universities have created numerous educational apps as a result.

In the twenty-first century, mobile apps have become commonplace. The landscape of education will be significantly altered by new technologies and digitization strategies. Furthermore, the widespread accessibility of the Internet has ushered in a new era of digitization for all business sectors. It is now possible to access the same information because the Internet is readily available, accessible, and available in both the most developed and the most remote regions of the world.

The development of digitization has had a significant impact on education in recent decades. The creation of educational applications inspired learners of all ages to find out more information on any subject.


WSIS values promotion

KFU is motivated to address issues with sustainability and security in e learning in order to support the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. Thanks to the suggestions made by the KFU-app teams, we can accomplish some of the SDGs. How did the KFU App accomplish SDGs (4, 5, 8, 10, 12, &17)? We have a great deal of confidence in the institution's flexibility and qualified staff to handle upcoming changes and developments, enabling us to adjust our plans as necessary. What benefits does King Faisal University's application offer in relation to the objectives and plans of the UN Information Society? Goal 4: High-quality education. Many more children and adults should have the technical and vocational skills required for employment, respectable jobs, and entrepreneurship by 2030. Goal 5: gender parity. Empower women by utilizing enabling technology, particularly information and communication technology. Goal 8: Decent work and economic growth through the training program Create and implement policies by 2030 to advance sustainable tourism, which benefits local economies and advertises their products and culture. Goal 9: industry, innovation and infrastructure By, among other things, ensuring an enabling policy environment for industrial diversification and the addition of value to commodities, you can support domestic technological advancement, research, and innovation in developing countries. Goal 10: Reducing inequalities To ensure equal opportunity and reduce outcome inequalities, it is important to promote appropriate laws, policies, and procedures in this area and to abolish discriminatory ones. Goal 12: sustainable production and consumption Ensure that everyone has access to pertinent information about environmentally friendly living and sustainable development by the year 2030. Goal 17: Companies for Goals Technology: Encourage mutually agreeable conditions for access to these fields of study and knowledge exchange.
