Cloud computing is gradually becoming a digital business platform for economic and social operations, which is crucial to the sustainable economic development of our society.
To promote the realization of the WSIS action policy and accelerate the digital transformation of the enabling industry, ECloud actively undertakes corporate social responsibility. Centring on the concept of computing power layout development, the mobile Cloud takes "autonomous and controllable, safe and reliable, green and low-carbon, ecological openness" as its development goals, adheres to the independent and controllable core technology of products, and independently develops Big Cloud operating system.
By integrating key technologies such as chips, virtualization, distributed storage, software-defined network, native security and resource scheduling, the project contributes a lot in the cloud for 11 million teachers, 170 million students and 350,000 schools. More than 60 epidemic prevention systems have been built based on the Big Cloud operating system to protect the life, health and safety of more than 1 billion people in more than 20 provinces. China has supported the sharing of over 180 billion epidemic data. We helped 161,000 rural households expand marketing channels for agricultural products, and continued to consolidate poverty alleviation and the foundation of agriculture. The project has won the second Prize in the Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, the 2018 ODCC Award-Self-Developed Innovation Award, the first Green Computing Innovation Application Award in China, and the Outstanding Product Award of the COSCL. The systems and technologies developed in this project provide a safe and healthy cloud ecosystem, enabling the "new infrastructure" and facilitating the digital transformation of enterprises, contributing to people's needs for a better digital life.

This project focuses on technological breakthroughs in Cloud Computing, Storage, Network, Security, etc., builds an integrated ecology of strong and reliable software and hardware, strengthens the advantages of security and credibility, and continues to create the Computing Power Foundation which is not only industry-leaded, ultra-high performance, stable, but also easy-to-use, cost-intensive, safe and reliable. On another hand, this project would also continuous breakthroughs in the fields of the operating system, computing, storage, etc., with industry-leading core performance indicators, and has been widely used in public clouds, industry clouds, private clouds, hybrid clouds and edge clouds. The project has awarded 28 patent authorizations, and 17 soft works, and participated in the release of 10 national standards and 7 industry/group standards up to now.

In 2022, the "Digital from the East and Calculate from the West" project has been fully rolled out, and the data centre will enter the stage of large-scale construction. This project will follow the development trend and actively cooperate with the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain to break the situation in an all-round way based on such a huge development opportunity, to achieve sustainable development in terms of overall computing power, intelligent scheduling, data security, and cloud-network-edge collaboration.
In terms of Computing Power Coordination and Intelligent Scheduling, this project has the characteristics of ultra-large-scale, massive capacity, stability, reliability and flexibility. It has been widely applied in the Ecloud (public cloud), supporting millions of customers up to the cloud and the scenarios involve various scenarios such as government affairs, finance, medical care, and industry.
In terms of Data Security, this project supports features such as one cloud with multiple pools, security and trustworthiness, and multi-cloud unified management and control. It is oriented to the internal system of China Mobile IT Cloud and supports the resource needs of various companies within the China Mobile Group.
In terms of cloud Network Edge Collaboration, this project supports CDN, cloud gaming and other business scenarios, providing them with stable and reliable IaaS services.
In the future, with the construction of Ecloud resource pools and edge clouds in various provinces, this project will serve more public cloud, private cloud, edge cloud and other customers, drive the economic development of provinces and cities, and continue to help "Digital from the East and Calculate from the West". Besides, it will provide various forms of cloud service capabilities, combined with heterogeneous acceleration hardware computing capabilities, based on the big cloud operating system

Under the guidance of the new development concept of innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing, the project has actively promoted digital industrialization and industrial digitalization since it was established, accelerated the digital transformation of empowering industries, and actively focused on medical and health care, poverty alleviation, agricultural assistance, environmental protection, industrial manufacturing and other fields. This project is created industry solutions and moves together with customers into the "depth of the cloud" to create, build and share an intelligent and beautiful world. Relying on the huge channels, networks, customers, technologies, platforms and other resources of China Mobile Group headquarters, provincial companies, industry research institutes and professional companies, the project is closely coordinated by all parties. Endogenous advantageous resources are focused on Ecloud, relying on Ecloud platform to promote new infrastructure construction, build a more inclusive, diverse and sustainable society, narrow cultural, social, technological and economic gaps, and realize that everyone learns from the cloud, uses the cloud and recommend the cloud. Moreover, this project is deeply integrated with the real economy, empowering customers from all industries to become an important engine of economic development. We have worked with customers to build several benchmark projects such as the Nucleic Acid Detection System of the Jiangsu Provincial Health Commission, the Digital Transformation of the Minquan County Government and the Gansu Poverty Alleviation Platform. In total, this project accelerates the integration of various industries into the tide of digital transformation and presses the "accelerator" for the high-quality development of the digital economy.
