This is an application towards providing speedy services to the citizens for Marriage Registration. This shall enable greater mobility of registrars as the site may be accessed from any location using Internet facilities from any ISP.
Computerisation of the process of registration of marriages necessitates the need to preserve data in electronic form and aid that the incumbents get a fair trial in the event of any dispute arising out of the marriage, viz.
(i) Polygamy / Polyandry,
(ii) Legal separation/ Nullity,
(iii) Grant of citizenship,
(iv) Restrict child Marriage,
(v) Other legal and social angles

Residential address of any one of the parties (husband/ wife, as the case may be) can be changed to another's address by virtue of marriage registration certificate. Registration of marriages in digital mode can restrict Polygamy / Polyandry. Marriage registration certificate can be used for Legal separation/ Nullity, Grant of citizenship, Restrict child Marriage, Determination of successor to some extent.
