Discover Moscow is an interactive guide around Moscow, launched in a mobile app, available on App Store and Google Play https://www.mos.ru/mosapps/#mosgid. The Project helps popularize Moscow's cultural sites, attract the attention to the importance of knowing the history of cultural heritage sites.Everyone can suggest itinerary or add information about objects.In the mobile app, users can get acquainted with over 3000 buildings, museums, and monuments, as well as go through about 300 exciting quests and routes. The app has 14 routes around the city districts.The project allows seeing facilities on the map and using AR. Thanks to new features, it is convenient to search for interesting facilities, find information and plan a walk. Since 2020, new functionality has appeared on the portal that allows registering for free excursions.The project also publishes virtual tours of cultural heritage sites. This is a set of 360º/180º photo panoramas that display facades and interiors. The tour integrates text descriptions in Russian and English, as well as classic photographs of interior items (close-up). There are 23 virtual tours. They solve the problem of remote access and serve as information resources for guides and historians, as well as for people with limited mobility.

Discover Moscow project can be scaled to the Moscow region and the country level, to all cities of Russia due to its own information system and a customized interface for transferring data to the Portal and mobile app. Interaction with local historians of individual cities and Russia and federal museums is necessary to fill up the Portal. The project can also be scaled to cities in other countries.
Plans to develop and attract more users are formed based on interaction with the citizens of Moscow - through feedback, reviews, special crowdsourcing projects, and qualitative and quantitative research. Based on the information received, we form plans and implement them. All this is done to make users feel that we listen to them and their opinion about the resource, which contains so much helpful information about their favorite city.Every day, this project helps residents and guests of the capital learn about Moscow's cultural and cultural heritage sites, free of charge. It helps attract the attention of young parents and students to the importance of knowing the history of cultural heritage sites of the city.
"Discover Moscow" is a free information portal and mobile app that provide constant access to archived information in digital form and multimedia content about cultural heritage sites, the city's history. It provides support to archives, collections of cultural objects as custodians of the memory of humankind. The project makes knowledge about the capital's cultural heritage closer and more accessible to residents of the city. The project aggregates information about more than three thousand buildings, museums, and monuments. For interactive involvement of users in the history of the city, more than 200 author's excursion routes have been created, each user of the application can choose a route and follow it. Audio guides accompany some routes. The augmented reality feature allows you to see all the nearest points of interest around the user. The Discover Moscow project does its best for a young audience's convenient and intuitive use of the application, since the history of the city and love for the value of the city's cultural heritage should be instilled from childhood. Thus, the project is implemented in accordance with the WSIS Action Line: Cultural Diversity and Identity, Linguistic Diversity, and Local Content.
