"In line with The National Policy for Promoting Mental Health, and in order to develop and expand comprehensive, integrated, responsive and community-oriented mental health services, CPP was launched in 2019 to support mental health services Mental Health program is being continuously improved by adding more functions, modules and features that facilitate the decision-making process, such as suicide risk assessment tools, which helps Psychologists to proactively carry out the required procedures The program also used to monitor and measure many KPIs related: - Home care (such as total number of patients, number of referrals to a nutritionist, number of referrals to the clinical pharmacy, number of approvals, etc.) - Clinical (such as Number of patients undergoing injection, Number of BPRS tests, Number of GAP points, Number of MMSE/OMC, etc.) CPP are a cornerstone in high quality, patient-centered mental health program. We created an Electronic Medical Record driven, easily accessible program for our psychiatrists where they could capture all their assessment data and get support from their smart system (Wareed) in identifying any immediate threats to the patients’ well-being. The community psychiatry clinical services that were digitalized include Community Mental Health Outreach Service, Crisis Intervention Team (CIT)-Rapid Response teleservice, Satellite community mental health e-clinics (CMHC) at primary care centers (PHCs).
