APJII standing for the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association is an Indonesian non-profit internet organization of 766 Internet Service Providers (ISPs) which serve the Indonesian archipelagos, the biggest one in the world.

The existence of IIX Single Cloud is to connect some regions in which the internet exchange point has been built into a central management. It is used by ISPs in Indonesia to push latency for faster access to internet content and reduce data traffic costs abroad.

Region IIX Point provides sharing infrastructure as an alternative to developing service areas efficiently and bringing internet content closer to the area which has an impact on the ease of internet access for semi-urban and rural communities

IIX Single Cloud is replicable for the archipelago country who has aims to reducing internet traffic costs from aboard, optimizing local internet content and helping internet equalization for the rural or remote area.

IIX Single Cloud is the program and solution to the limitations of domestic content infrastructure, which seems to be separated from global content. With the existence of IIX Single Cloud, internet connection in Indonesia is expected to become cheaper. IIX Single Cloud also could reduce international bandwidth costs, so that Indonesian internet price is more affordable for semi-urban and rural communities. Also can increase productivity for micro and small business player.

The IIX Single Cloud program currently does not have an end date for the program, but is divided into stages that will be developed continuously.

IIX Single Cloud and WSIS have similarities in terms of program that is continuously run and sustainable, and IIX can implement the latest technology that can reach all corners of regions in Indonesia so that the need for cheap internet and adequate infrastructure will be achieved.
