Integrated One Stop Shop for farmers to access finance, markets, inputs, and knowledge. Agrianalytica is a farmer-centric ecosystem, which also offers functionalities for financial institutions, input suppliers, processors, traders/buyers, and agricultural consultants. The main idea is to provide one integrated place with value added services for relevant stakeholders’ groups centered around farmers and their needs. Small farmers have 3 main challenges (to which agrianalytica.com developed solutions): 1. Access to finance: lack of accounting or its poor quality, lack of simple tools for accounting and production planning, low financial literacy of farmers and their inability to substantiate their financial needs, lack of understanding by bank loan officers of the agribusiness specifics, lack of credit analysis tools and risk assessment for banks to lend to small farmers. 2. Access to markets and inputs: lack of tools for comparing financing proposals of banks, suppliers and buyers in one place as well as for choosing the most suitable options for material and technical resources purchases, lack of tools for finding fellow farmers to form the tradable volume of products in order to profitably sell the crop. 3. Access to knowledge: lack of knowledge where to find credit at best conditions and how to compare different credit options: bank loan effective interest rate, input suppliers credit conditions, processors/traders’ pre-finance options conditions; lack of knowledge how to prepare a business plan and a package of documents for a lender, how to submit an application, lack of economic analysis knowledge to improve profitability, lack of knowledge of efficient production and crop technology, lack of knowledge of how to keep accounting in the right way.

Agrianalytica was established in 2017 with its main office located in Kyiv, Ukraine. The project was developed by an international team of experts with profound experience in agriculture, IT, project management and investment. Over the past 2 years, Agrianalytica has gained a strong market trust with a simple principle that we follow gathering growers, financial institutions, input suppliers, buyers of agricultural produce, investors, donors, insurance companies and other businesses to ensure access to finance, markets and knowledge based on a “Win-Win” concept for all participants. Agrianalytica cooperates with USAID on financial literacy, business planning, accounting trainings for farmers. In 2020 Agrianalytica was awarded a grant of UAH 2 million from USAID AGRO project to develop online inputs store for farmers to help farmer access and buy inputs online. In 2021 some international projects plan to use Agrianalytica to subsidize or partially compensate farmers input purchases, and/or agri-advisory services, potentially disburse matching grants to farmers. Additionally, another international donor project – Ukrainian Horticulture Business Development Project (UHBDP) highly regards our services and partners with us to engage farmers into platform services. World Bank team from Washington DC tested Agrianalytica platform for 2 months and recognized its innovation by inviting the Director Lyudmila Tymoshenko to present at GlobalSME finance forum 2019 in Amsterdam. Only 5 fintechs were selected to present. https://globalsmefinanceforum.org/2019/speaker/liudmyla-tymoshenko
