With the support from Chinese government, TIAA and Xinghua City organized 25 unmanned agricultural machinery groups which composed of 104 companies and institutes to start unmanned agricultural work in plowing, seeding, transplanting, harvest from 2018. The test aims to solve the rural labor shortage and low-quality and inefficient production in China. At present, four seasonal agricultural operations have been completed, and unmanned agricultural products like rice and wheat have been harvested. The operation efficiency of the unmanned machines is better than normal machines. 377 intelligent agricultural machines have been sold. Nearly 300 million people in China have watched the test. The test will cover 14 crops and one-third of Chinese provinces.

The test will cover 12 provinces in China. We also keep contact with Russia, Korea, Europe, Africa countries to promote the test to foreign countries.

The project is a long-term work. The research will be sutainable with the development of the advanced technologies. The project improved the local ecnomy and social efficiency.

By incorporating our project into WSIS actions, the values and technical concepts of WSIS action lines and advanced information and communication technologies in changing the production methods, improving productivity levels, improving labor results, and improving local and socio-economic levels will be promoted during the project implementation process. Meanwhile, as the achievements of the test, solutions of 5G, V2X and other advanced information and communication technologies should be publicized, which belongs to WSIS benchmarks Demonstration achievements. It will encourage more enterprises, organizations and individuals to participate in the promotion and application of ICT, to expand the status and influence of WSIS, as well as to support WSIS goals: to create a better world and achieve a global sustainable development.
