Establishing a program for the management of scientific research in the university, preserving, documenting, categorizing and disseminating it, which will improve the level of scientific research and dissertations in the university, as well as upgrading and developing graduate programs. It also contributes to the exchange of research information with universities, institutions, research centers and researchers. In addition, it provides a conducive research environment for research, creativity and innovation, and contributes to building global research partnerships.

Yes, The University has taken several steps in this area:
1) Governance of the platform management, so that it has a board of directors chaired by the Vice dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, and the membership of the Vice dean for international cooperation and knowledge exchange, and a group of deans, in addition to the owner of the initiative.
2) A number of decisions were taken to support the continuation of the platform, most notably:
• Linking all procedures related to scientific research to the deposit of research in the platform of scientific output, as a condition to complete the procedures of treatment, and this applies to the granting of degrees to graduate students, and the promotion of faculty members, and the disbursement of subsidized scientific research payments.
• The approval of the University Council on the right of the university to make available theses on its site, to be the consent of the applicant to make scientific research a condition of admission to graduate studies.
• Approval of the platform management committee to include all scientific theses in the databases of the programs for detecting plagiarism.
• Approval of the platform management committee to link the platform electronically to the Saudi Digital Library to appear as one of the digital libraries under it.

The entry of the university with one of its products that was done internally will undoubtedly represent a great promotion of WSIS within my community, and no doubt they will be looking forward to following the news of the summit and interacting with it.
