The power wireless private network takes the city as the unit to carry out the standardized construction.At present, the network has been utilized in 3 core networks and 1,257 base stations of wireless private network in Nanjing, Suzhou and Changzhou, covering an area of 800 square kilometers, including class A+, A, B and C power supply areas. It has successfully connected about 50,000 terminals, covering four basic services, including distribution automation, electricity information collection, electric vehicle charging station, distributed new energy, etc, as well as more than 10 expanded businesses such as precision load control, substation infrastructure video, live working robot patrol inspection, material storage management and mobile inspection.These experiments show that the power wireless private network has met the requirements of power service communication rate, delay and security protection, and can effectively improve indicators like success rate of remote control of distribution automation and success rate of power information collection.

The construction will be expanded in the future and it is expected that by 2021, 13 cities in Jiangsu province will be fully covered with Class C and above, and the province's power wireless private network can access about 200,000 types of services.
