VASSIST aims at providing specific voicecontrolled Home Care and CommunicationServices for two target groups ofolder persons: Seniors suffering fromchronic diseases and/or suffering from(fine) motor skill impairments.The goal of VASSIST is to provide specificvoice controlled Home Care and CommunicationServices for older persons.The result of VASSIST are multilingualnatural voice interfaces for a specific setof communication and tele-medicineservices along with specific hard andsoftware developments to provide theseservices in the older users’ home. In thisway VASSIST will provide an alternativeand easy access to existing communicationand tele-medical solutions for seniorpersons. VASSIST will reduce costs relatedto the service delivery by using existingon-site hardware and infrastructuresuch as TV, Smart Phone and PC.
