The time of choosing a tertiary / university course once finished the secondary studies, is a stage full of uncertainty for the young people and their families. Over the years, making the choice has become increasingly complex for several reasons: More options are added year after year so they have the latest ones: in the last 10 years, the academic offer doubled; New job opportunities for traditional courses of studies. Because of this, in Argentina 6 out of 10 young people finishing school, do not know what to study. This has a direct impact on abandonment rates: 58% drop out or change their university course of studies in the first two years, and only 1 in 5 young people conclude higher education with a degree. Argentina is one of the countries with the highest university dropout rate in the world. With this diagnosis, La Punta University can accompany the young people from San Luis to transit this process through the digital vocational guidance test. In San Luis, this method is possible because, thanks to the Information Highway, the connectivity reaches all the provincial locations. This stage is one of many comprehensive digital policies plan that developed the Wi-Fi connection and the delivery of computers and tablets, among others.
