Construction of Commercial IoT Network Based on NB-IoT


Description

The project is dedicated to the construction of commercial IoT network based on NB-IoT. It has several goals, including the building of a wide-coverage NB-IoT network, solutions for key problems in different service scenarios of the NB-IoT network and the creation of specific intelligent information IoT business applications. This project is the first fully-covered commercial IoT network,which provides a basic information bearer service for static reporting-indicating IoT-like business applications. Under the 15 main static business scenarios such as water meter, gas meter, parking, smoke fire, manhole cover, street light, and photovoltaic monitoring, the overall coverage can exceed 90%. The solution for many key network difficulties has effectively improved the network service-bearing ability, including improvement of the SINR in the same frequency interference region (about 3 dB) and reduction of the PING packet delay (about 100 milliseconds). At the same time, relying on the NB-IoT network, it successfully brings a number of IoT applications out, and definitely popularizes them as well. It realizes the innovation of IoT applications, promotes the development of IoT applications, and provides more convenient information services for the people, and apparently promotes intelligent information innovation in industrial development and urban construction.

Replicability

Through the project, in different service scenarios of the NB-IoT network, a feasible solution will be proposed for key problems, such as insufficient depth, multi-user concurrent, same-band interference, capacity expansion, etc. while improving the carrying capacity of the self-owned network, it provides a solution for similar IoT construction projects at home and abroad.
This project is the first fully-covered commercial IoT network that provides a basic information bearer service for static reporting-indicating IoT-like business applications. Depending on the construction of this network, it can provide the basis for the comprehensive development and application of information resources for various industries,and has a wide impact on the information service operators, the development of IoT industry, and the information infrastructure construction of the whole society.


Sustainability

The project effectively guiding the mature commercialization of IoT business, realize the rapid resolution of end-to-end problems among the multiple IoT services, involving water meters, gas meters, parking, white goods, public facilities and other industries. While promoting information consumption and stimulating economic growth, it will also achieve further maturity of the entire IoT industry chain.
The project comply with the new needs of the "person-person" and "object-object" communication in the information industry. Build a new generation of information infrastructure with fast deployment in bearing IoT network. It helps transform and upgrade the information industry, and urban governance innovation. Provide more convenience for the people, improving social informatization level and social economic development.

It plans to cultivate several representatives of IoT applications,like smart data systems, smart transportation systems, smart tourism systems, smart agricultural systems and smart community systems.The NB-IoT network provides information bearing services with its multiple business applications, such as the PM2.5 air detection application, which embeds communication modules and multiple sensing sensors into various environmental monitoring system devices, and completes automatic collection, monitoring and intelligent analysis of environmental informationwith the help of NB-IoT network.
