This project is dedicated to build a 5G-based intelligent community medical system, which can achieve the functions of automatic collection of patients’ information, telemedicine interaction, telemedicine cooperation and management of medical information.Compared with the traditional medical platform or the current mobile medical system, the project utilizes 5G networks for its functions of large bandwidth, large connection and short time delay to achieve multi-class access. And the intelligent community medical access service is differentiated from the common business resources through the 5G service-oriented slicing function, so as to acquire high reliability of the intelligent community medical service, which means a 5G network can satisfy the communication needs of medical equipment and the appeal of ordinary users to access the Internet at the same time. The system is an upgrade of traditional system with rich services and timely response to improve and solve the uneven distribution of medical resources, or large differences in medical information and other situations, which leads to bring the technology or equipment advantages of the central medical institutions into full play. As part of the health informatization, this project is in line with the improvement of the community medical ability and the establishment of a grading diagnosis and treatment system reformation trend.

This project is committed to combine traditional medical services and information services through 5G networks, where proves to be better problem-solved, and improves the service capacity of community medical services, so as to balance medical resources. The project aimed at a new community medical system with rich services and timely response to improve and solve the uneven distribution of medical resources, or large differences in medical information and other situations, whatleads tobring the technology or equipment advantages of the central medical institutions into full play.The project carried out management of common diseases and chronic diseases to improve the efficiency of medical treatment.For chronic diseases, functions such as automatic reminder and treatment planning can be realized, which apparently improves the rate of diagnosis dramatically and reduces the problems of “difficulty in seeing a doctor”.The project promotes wearable and portable medical information collection devices. Patients can actively or passively report data of heart rate, blood pressure, blood sugar or other information through these devices; doctors can monitor patients in real time with chronic diseases, like coronary heart disease, hypertension and kidney disease, especially for the elder and the disabled.Medical equipment of this typecan greatly raisesthe medical efficiency and treatment effectiveness of the relevant residents in the community.
The system applies remote control applications, based on video and force feedback, enable resources sharing between central hospitals and community hospitals, such as remote robotic ultrasound test, remote robotic endoscopyand remote robotic surgery, for unbalanced medical resources. As part of the health informatization, this project is in line with the improvement of the community medical ability and the establishment of a grading diagnosis and treatment system reformation trend. The project helps establish a cloudmedical record system, which is convenient for community hospitals, related central hospitals, and nearby peopleto access, so that doctors can formulate treatment plans promptly and enhance treatment efficiency. This project meets the network architecture of medical industry applications, exploringa new business model of mobile medical care; and on the other hand, it also effectively helpsto improve the establishment of hierarchical medical treatment systems and to increase the utilization efficiency of medical resources.
