For Kosovo, it was the first time that such an event was organized to mark this day through the conference organized by A.U.K. and partners in order to mark the beginning of a new paradigm in the ICT sector. The conference was one of the project elements that aimed to raise awareness on the possibilities of women in the ICT sector through inspiration from success stories of people in the profession local and international, as well as to facilitate networking opportunities between the female trainees and potential employers active in the sector through the job fair. The conference has become an annual event, and 2016 marked the second time.
