WomenAndDrones.com is the largest online platform for women in the UAS (unmanned aerial system) industry. Why drones? Drone technology is changing the world for the better, from making agriculture more efficient, aiding search and rescue operations, delivering medicine to remote locations to inspecting critical infrastructure after a disaster. The numerous benefits of using drone technology carry over into cognitive development. Our mission is twofold:
1. We enable women to connect, collaborate and make global business connections to grow their network. We profile women in the drone industry who are disrupting, innovating and shaping the future of the drone industry.
2. Our educational platform focuses on “learning through the wonder of flying robots.” The initiative is designed to introduce girls to STEM/STEAM through learning about drones.
