Over 1,300 students in each semester require verifying their documents and academic records from the Deanship of Admissions and Registration at King Abdulaziz University (KAU). All requests done by attending the beneficiary to Deanship of Admissions and Registration or by email. Therefore, the Deanship has developed a service in an electronic system (Website) to authenticate and verifies the students' documents. Either for verify the qualification of medical students, Post-graduate studies, or any purpose. The system enables third parties such as other universities, organizations, or government sectors inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to apply and send requests to get a verification for a student’s document in Arabic and English for KAU’s Alumni. For the first time, the system provides third parties from outside the kingdom to have an access to the university’s systems to preserve the privacy of students through an electronic authorization framework, which let the student allows the third party to view his data. Beside the system facilitates the follow-ups procedures and archiving in a safe and accurate online system.
