Digital Letracy Project


Description

The aim of the Digital Literacy Project is to train all categories of the listener, focusing on women to gain knowledge of technology, digital literacy and safe use of the Internet. One of the activities of the project is training in the safe entry and use of the Internet to maintain privacy and protect against cybercrime, especially for women Where training was done to identify viral messages and dangerous content and how to maintain personal images and user information and promise to display data on the user's device to steal or hackers . The aim of this project was to improve the performance of employees in the governmental sector as well as to protect citizens from cybercrime by learning the technology and using it in a safe and safe manner and employing it in development, work and performance. During the implementation of the project, follow-up and evaluation processes were carried out throughout the project's work periods, in order to ensure that the information was properly and easily accessible, as well as to ensure that the trainees were able to use information in public and personal life. The follow-up and evaluation is carried out by the two entities responsible for the project, namely, Microsoft and the Egypt's Society for culture and development (formerly integrated care), and to send these reports to the project-based entity in financial terms.

Replicability

Based on the success of training at the level of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Egyptian Association for Culture and Community Development (formerly Integrated Care) has continuously provided training at its various sites at the level of 14 locations in four governorates (Cairo, Giza, Qalioubia, Fayoum). In all libraries affiliated to the association. The Association puts the training in information technology within the proposed activities that are offered to the donors because of its strong belief in the importance of training in information technology for the citizens especially the women, since women are currently representing more than half the society and women have become an important factor in supporting and developing the family. Its capabilities and information, which is reflected on the family and the nation


WSIS values promotion

The Association works to provide all the modern training methods and follow-up the training of trainers to ensure the quality of training, and provides the tools of modern technology from computers, programs and displays, to ensure training of beneficiaries with the latest methods and training devices and dealing with information technology programs developed.
