Arab Women in Computing


Description

The Arab Women In Computing Association mission is to support, inspire, retain, encourage collaboration among, increase visibility of and help elevate the status of Arab women in computing from the various computing/technology sectors (academia, industry and entrepreneurship) and allow them to achieve their goals. Also, to create linkage with international women -in-CS organizations.
Arab Women in Computing - Lebanon Chapter is launched on July 2015 in Lebanon and it is one of the tenth of chapters in Middle East belonging to Arab Women in Computing organization. Our target is to inspire and encourage women to go into the STEAM fields. Since launching the chapter in Lebanon we have done many events to encourage girls in Lebanon to pursue their education and their career in the STEAM fields.
