In the missions of CEFEPROD, it helps to reduce the gender digital divide, by promoting, popularizing and developing Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as tool of women empowerment.It also works to promote women Leadership and women digital Entrepreneurship.It is in this case that CEFEPROD organizes training courses in ICT, GENDER in ICT AWARD, celebrates GIRLS IN ICT DAY and has created GENDER TV, especially the platform "" AFRICA DIGITAL WOMEN"" to serve as framework for the organization in July 2016 of the forum "" AFRICA DIGITAL WOMEN"" "" on the theme: Empowering women through the development of the digital economy""AFRICA WOMEN DIGITAL"" is an innovative platform, virtual and physical, which aims at promoting women digital Entrepreneurship to allow women and girls entrepreneurs to participate in the development of the digital economy and have it as career.The CEFEPROD was finalist in 2014, at GEM TECH Awards, Category 4The sector of digital technology is very important in the development of nations and women are under-represented within this sector which represents the world of future, the economy of tomorrow .This is to say that digital technology is an opportunity for everyone, but particularly for women. This is a key for equality and for education. Women must also try their luck to become entrepreneurs , creating start-ups in the digital universe and bringing projects within large companies around digital transformations.It is for this reason that CEFEPROD organizes in July 2016 the AFRICA DIGITAL WOMEN FORUM .MAIN GOALSThe goal of the AFRICA DIGITAL WOMEN forum is to bring together women and girls entrepreneurs, those of small and medium enterprises, associations Leaders, Women Leaders, Artists, Artisans, Unemployed Graduates, startuppers, Rural women, Students and people passionately fond of ICTs, all having the entrepreneurial passion to develop their potential through ICTs.
