WSIS Prizes Contest 2019 Nominee

DigiPippi

Description

DigiPippi is a non-profit organization working to promote girls' interest in technology and IT on their own terms. The vision is that girls and women have equal opportunities of participating and co-create the technological society. DigiPippi makes use of both role-models, women who have careers within a wide variety of STEM-based jobs, an online and offline community for girls in the ages 9-13 years to learn more about tech and to break down the gender-barrier, workshops for girls within relevant topics and advocacy at national and international conferences and multinational organizations (latest at the conference held by the European Union called #DigitalSkills4Her).
